What is First Contact?
First Contactis a service that allows people aged 60 and over to access a wide range of services and information to help them stay safe and well in their own home through one point of contact.
The checklist addresses issues such as:
Benefits and entitlements
Support for carers
Voluntary services information
How does First Contact work?
Our customers can complete a simple checklist in one of our leaflets, with a trained member of staff, on the phone with a Central Coordinator or through our website. The answers customers provide to the checklist questions indicate which agencies they require information and advice from.
Completed checklists generate referrals to the required agency prompting them to contact the customer and deliver the information and advice required within 28 days.
